Watermelon is a low-calorie fruit that is full of vitamins A, B6 and C, and potassium. It also has fiber which can help with digestion. It has no fat or cholesterol, making it the perfect healthy snack for your pet.
Similar to strawberries, it does contain sugar. So, do not overfeed your dog watermelon as it could lead to an upset stomach.

Of course, you can always give your dog chunks of watermelon, but there are fun alternative ways to eat it. One method is to puree the watermelon and freeze it into ice cubes. You can give these to your dog to cool them off after playtime or on a hot day.
